That's great...The company is having fun with the project which means the fans will be very pleased with the final product.
Sure would love to see Big Bear/Raiden make a return...been a long time since the first tournament held by Geese :-D

Krauser and Geese have not been seen since 96. They are classic boss's with true legacies.

Jhun should be re added to.

See if it matters, I suggest you guys add Krauser to your votes, same with Geese, these are Key characters that havent been seen in fucking ages.

I do not care for maxima, I can whip anyone with him, cause effectively played he can be a cheesy bitch, Bao is just a retard who needs no intro.

Maxima is COOL! I do agree that they should bring back Jhun....He is a cool design.
Choi and Chang removed would be a welcomed change...
Yamazaki must return as well...

Damn straight, Maxima was a badass and all his artwork was cool too. I was kind of disappointed in his ingame sprite design at first compared to his original art (which had him looking almost like Mad Max but a little more muscular) but he kicks ass. All the other new KoF'99 characters besides Whip were just rejects from The Crow. ;p

When you vote I think they specifically ask for three characters you'd like added in, and three characters you wouldn't mind being removed. I said bring in Geese+Krauser+Eiji, remove Bao+Ramon+K9999.

I still cannot grasp why they killed Jhun off? He was one of the only cool additions to KOF 99..I got good with both his stances, and smack he is gone on 2K1?

Yamazaki was the fkin man, he kicked ass in 97, now he is gone. I want more of the classic elements back.
They proved they could develop damn well with 2K1, now if the fans get the chars of old back, the game may once again do as good as it used to.
2K1 already fell off the charts!

We need a new boss team.
Also the old sports team back.
Strikers should also be completely annihilated from the KOF engine. Even in 2K1, it contributes to infinities, dont even get me started on my vanessa/jhun one in 2K.....
Chang and Choi definately need a break, every time I see there unchanged ass's on screen, it screams laziness in the program dept.

Yeah,Gotta give it up for Krauser..He saved 96' for me. That VOICE is killer..He was a real presence in that game and I used him all the time...

I thought Leona Heidern's moves/voice/design had tremendous presence in the game for a non fan-service female character appearing in the series for the first time. Geese would have been the man (even with his toned down gameplay) except they had him with his gi top on and a lot of his moves didn't have that "hard hitting" feel most of the Fatal Fury cast cast gets in KoF.

Don't even think about Chang Koehan and Choi Bounge getting removed though. Chang is an EXTREMELY popular character in that hemisphere due to the abusable things he gets in '97 and up. And having Chang without Choi is like having Ryu without Ken Masters.

I checked out the threads for this one in SRK and ON as well, and it looks like a lot of ppl mentioned Rick... wouldn't it be something if the fans could get him into the game. :cool: It'd be nice if we could get Duck King and Lawrence Blood on board as well, but I have less hope for them.

I also wouldnt mind seeing some old school AOF characters to add to the fray.
I don't like Maxima cause he is to easy to master. Anyone can be a asspain if they learn enough with him. K' I think is the shit, especially in 2K1 with that new followup....

Ramon also is a reject, the second he appeared in 2K people were complaining about him.
K four nine is also a dork, his moves are cool, but his design is incredibly lame and theived, and his facial expression looks cracked out.

I want to see Alfred from RB2 in there also. His moves are cool, hell he was probably the most kick ass striker in 99 EVO period.
Iori definately needs new moves as well, he is unchanged for the most part.....
RUGAL is the main bad guy in KOF, he should be a normal character like he was in 98, if its a dream match anything goes.

Kyo's new fire proof suit (he appeared in 99 and so on) kicks major ass and should stay.
May Lee is also a cool design. Jay/Dong, May, Kim & Jhun, is my Korea dream team right there.
They better use 98 Kim.......

Well, I just mailed in my vote! I voted for Geese, Krauser, and the Jin brothers. The characters I voted out were Hinako, Ramon, Chang, and Choi.

I voted for Krizalid/Yashiro/Orochi Iori. I like using these particular characters since they totally look bad ass. As for the characters I wanted to leave, Boa/Ramon/May Lee. I guess for sure Boa and Ramon are out but May Lee, she has quite a few fans so I dont think she'll leave. I guess I wasted one of my choices. SHIT!!!
