I really, really, really, want this game. I'm going to buy it as soon as it comes out for MVS. The art work is just too good to be true. Plus I love the backgrounds, especially the barn with the "K", "O", and "F" sheep. That's hilarious!
But I will admit there are some things that I don't like, but it's all things we arleady knew before the screenshots. Like the character roster-No King, Shingo, Lin (why he was taken out instead of Ramon is beyond me) and Foxy. They will be missed. However I really can't see how such a small roster is going to be in 2002, hopefully we will see some hidden characters. If so, then this might be one of the best KoF games in recent years.
I didn't have a problem at all with the in game art of 2k1, in fact I hold 2k1 higher than 98 on my list as the best KoF game ever, but I did have a problem with the character designs themselves. As well as some of the original art released on mmcafe for 2k1 a year ago. But I must say that this art is fantastic, I guess the artist heard our complaints! I really dig the comic book style art. And man didn't Eolith make up for ruining Athena last year?! That is one slick costume. And I'm not even a Athena fan. But looks as if she will be getting some play this year.
I don't know how I'm going to feel abouyt the change back to 3 on 3, but the game shows promise. Everything is looking good so far. It's just I wish that there were more characters, after all it IS a dream-match...
