A very rough translation was posted on the MMCafe message boards.

there's something like an original combo. All the gauge is used, you can cancel normal or special you couldn't cancel normaly. The sites gives a short example that already uses 8/10 of the opponent's life.
NFT have their Orochi form.
Terry has a kû cancel power charge infinite
Shingo pops in like in KOF 98
The Benimaru Coreder is back.
The slayer (??? slier???) of Kula is a close range moove ?
Her Shining Wizard in "too much" (what? too much powerfull? too easy to use? too ugly?)
Vanessa has "forbidden eagle" (?)
K9999 has a new moove, 214K "kudakero!" (I never was used to the japanese use ofnumbers... I gess it's "down-back kick")
Chris CD attack changed
Leona becomes berserk when she looses her energy (GOOD!)

edit: I hope those arent the final teams. there are some major charas missin that i dont even have to mention. It seems there was a big cut to return some of those old favs. Worth it imo but then agian I love the New Face team. No more Bao disgracing my screen.

WTF?! NO KING? WOW! May-Lee doesn't DESERVE to be in a dream match. She just debuted in KOF 2001 and she took the spot of my favorite Korean teammate Jhun. Now shes taking the spot of a KOF veteran? HELL NO! I think the Eolith gone crazy with May Lee. Shes one of those characters they made a long time ago and now that she has a chance they won't let her go. If shes in Jhun better be a hidden character. :mad:

just talked to my friend,hes been there

told me he had to wait for 2 hours to get in

may lee instead of king

leona instead of heidern

yama is good old 98 sprite

same for the orochi team,and you can use both versions ( normal and orochi )

and yes,orochi yashiro is still as lethal as in 98 ( so he isnt toned down like goro in 2001 )

what else? yes,orochi leona...pfff

kim new stance is cool as fuck,
and he hates kim so it must be good

oh i asked him about backgrounds

better than the ones in 2001 but...erm...think i heard the word "pre rendered" or something

hmmm,hope i didnt get that right

Notice how they manage to get the entire Korean team into this game. Hell,all the new KOF 2001 characters are in this game except for the bosses.

I also have a friend who's at the beta testing, and luckily, since he's Japanese, he'll let us all in on the (albeit disappointing) info!

KoF Online has info very similar to this, which makes me believe it's a pretty reliable source. K9999 will be a midboss, in a new mutated form(K9999 is one of my favorite characters, this will be kickass), and Rugal is supposed to be the final boss! I don't know about you, but I wanted Krizalid to be the new returning boss in dream matches, and each time he should be killed in some pathetic, cowardly way. If Rugal is back, he should have a whole new techno-zombie look and movement to him. That's my vision anyway.

First post, yay. Hope I enjoy my stay here.

how can they possible call it that when they add NO new characters, axe a load of existing ones and put crap like may lee in over jhun.

My excitement has lowered a bit. I like May Lee (her design is cool too), but I'd take King over the 2k/2k1 ladies any day.

And... pre-rendered?! ...shiver... uh, now that's some rollercoaster ride, from Eiji and Geese to possibly pre-rendered backs and no King.
