then my enthusiasm for 2K2 is all but gone.
most of my mainly-used KOF characters aren't appearing.

oh well.

so goes the 'orochi chris, yamazaki and kane' too.
but then that was from madman's.

glad to see eiji may make it back, but still no sign of jhun hoon,a playable zero, some of the kof2k strikers (i.e duck king - he's ready drawn to go) Wolfgang krauser, mr big e.t.c

i was just hoping for some new faces

i'm gettin' the same old, same old feeling.

some new sprites/outfits would be nice, i.e a new terry sprite,his '96 one's getting old. joe and andy have had new ones.
and some new clothes for iori.

just my initial impressions weren't so hot.
but it's early days, lets wait and see :D

Except for the edit chars, looks very close to what we know plus what chars absolutely have to be there... the big shock there is Leona off of Team Ikari!!! Why not make Heidern edit or better yet retire him???

It was nice to see him back for a game, but he is not the future. :(

I agree. Although I like Heidern, I honestly thought the Ikari Team wasn't shit until Leona came. Now she's off the team, but at least SNK loved her well enough to keep her on KOF.

technically,its not a dream match
an all stars kof,more like

so rugal is the only logical candidate

Rugal is kind of sucky as a boss.

We need the real boss team.

KoF '98 Rugal, Goenitz, Orochi.

All three at full power, using same AI as before.

Orochi was very cool - the build up to his fight (and the post fight between Kyo and Iori if you got it) made KoF 97 one of my favorites in a series that I'm not all together that fond of (although compared to 99% of the other series I can think of, I love KoF).

yeah, it's true... Orochi was tough, but then you get his timing down and he's more predictable than Chris... Orochi really needed someting more... I don't want to say a crouch, because that wouldn't really help...

Still though, the end where Yashiro kills Shermie and Chris, and then himself... Hey, that's a lot better than the near-death beatdown Iori usually gave his teammates at the end of each tournement beforehand.

I mean, Iori didn't kill Vice - otherwise, how did Vice "get worse"???

Know what I mean?

Yashiro was bad though. He had a complex. Bad musician complex.

It's already been announced by Eolith that there will be no "new" chars in 2002.

Anyway, if Geese is the only boss who is an edit char, then wouldn't that make him the boss of the game as well? Now that's not such a bad idea, letting Geese be the boss of a KOF... :cool:
