I dont get the chance to go to downtown Toronto much ,,but today i was downthere and saw something that might be of some interest to anyone near toronto and looking for neo geo to play ,,,i didnt catch the name of the place ,,but they are directly across the street from that insanely huge Sam the Record Man store on Yong Street .This arcade has just about everything , including 3 six slot, 1 four slot , and 6 one slot MVS's scattered among their many machines ,they even have a 64neo with fatal fury wild ambition too ! I was so happy to see so many neos in one place, I had to do my part and get a roll of quarters and stay there till they were all spent, the neo geo games i played there today were:
Nightmare in the Dark
Strikers 1945 plus
King of Fighters 2000
Bust a Move Again Ex
Metal Slug 3
Samurai Showdown

i dont recall all the games they had in their neos ,,,just the ones i casted my votes for with the quarter.

That's the Funland downtown you're thinking of (there is another one in a ghetto area of Scarborough, near Kennedy station on the RT line). They really do have a collection of MVS cabinets there, don't they? Also some others, like Fatal Fury Special & 3, Magical Drop 3, Super Sidekicks...3? Bust-A-Move, KoF '97, I think Samurai II & III.. and more.

Anyhow, I am from Southern Ontario, though I will not be home until the end of June. Still, if you want to meet up at some point later on, drop me an e-mail and we can talk. neobomberman@yahoo.ca

Nice to see more local Neo Freaks!

I'm in Hamilton and We have this one kinda shite arcade called palace or Casino, i think, that has a nice 4 slot with Sam Sho 2, Fat Fury Special, Baseball Stars and Bust a Move. They have a Dedicated Mark of the Wolves unit with a nice big screen. Really nice stuff.

Lots of BAm machines in the city though. At the local downtown cinema, they have a weird modified BAM machine that only has opne button. If thats not shunning the possibilty of having other cool Neo carts in there, I dont know what is.

And in my basement, I have a really cool 1 slot machine with a few MVS carts including MOTW. Any one want to meat in Ham??

Fuck, this arcade was one of the very first to get Cap vs. Snk. I remember getting my ass kicked at it by this guy who was crowding me to one side. Fat asian kid! Oh well, maybe next time I see him...

They have some shite players there, though...including me. Lots of Shoto-sho offs who suck.

I found that game at the Scarborough Town Centre long before seeing it at Funland downtown. We has rather large crowds of people there, which does of course include the "I'm gonna give you my Johnny Maximum shoulder butt while you try to pull off a move on me" players, and of course the elbowers, but where can't we find them?

So, are we three pretty much set to meet? Doesn't take me too long to get down there.

By the way, you should also try places like Commerce Gate, Canada Square (..I think that's what it's called; it's another Chinese shopping plaza), possibly the Playdiums, this other arcade a bit further up the road (Young and whatever comes before Wellesley) just for a bit of variety. Oh and that other Funland is just a little East bound of Kennedy station (not much further than the other side of the birdge) in this strip of stores which also has another arcade. Both of those two are 25 cents for most games.

Only other thing left to do is find a better Maple Leaf since that Canadian flag under our names is ugly, wouldn't you say?
