Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? See the link below:

I'd say both. It's a good thing because it's about time a King of Fighters manga got published in English. And it's the Hong Kong version, so you'll no longer have to check out Vicent's KOF site to get the lowdown on the manga. It's a bad thing because the actual story is subpar. Also, why can't one of the King of Fighters manga anthologies be published instead? They have nice artwork and hilarious stories, plus they're a nice change of pace from the serious (and often inaccurate) stories that reign supreme in the Hong Kong manga. On the upside, this will be Andy Seto's first work to be published in America. Plus, if it garners enough popularity, there just might be more KOF manga in English. Here's hoping something good comes of this...

Hopefully it means more KoF manga in the future. Certainly wouldn't hinder the storyline any, and might even clear up a few holes and questions we(the fans) may have.

Just FYI, Andy Seto has a couple other books coming out here via Comicsone.com. I saw it at the SD ComiCon, and his work looks great! I'm looking forward to the KOF comics. Even though they may stray from official storyline, I think it's cool to use the characters in that capacity. Kinda like Gundam side stories, I'd say.

Thanks for the info! :D

As a practical joke, Yuri stuck a bunch of razors into Takuma's back scratcher. That's how he got those scars. :p

Anyways, I'm glad they're coming out in Engrish!

He went on a hunting expedition with Gato. <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

I'm very interested in English KOF manga myself, but I couldn't get to the publisher's website, maybe it's being hammered or something.

Some of Andy Seto's KOF books were supposed to see stateside release last year, but they never materialised. Hopefully they will follow through this time.
