First, let me begin by saying that this probably belongs in the Capcom vs. SNK forum.
In my eye, both Capcom and SNK a excellent game (and hardware) companies and trying to argue which is better is pointless because no two people have the exact same tastes. for that simple and often forgotten reason, neither company can be "better".
I will say that I personally like Capcom a little more overall, partially because they make a much wider variety of games. And when it comes to newer technology, Capcom definitely has the edge.
However, when it comes to fighters, my favorite genre, I'm undecided. When I first played Samurai Shodown II in an arcade, I thought it was the best game ever, and I still think it's one of the best games ever. On the same note, I have also played Street Fighter for countless hours, and I'm also a fan of Vampire, Megaman, Rival Schools, and Resident Evil.
One thing I don't like from *either* side is bashing the other. For some reason, and tell me if I'm wrong, it seems that people can only like one of the two companies. Why, I ask?
