Metal Slug comes to the GBA, Capcom vs. SNK on the NeoGeo

Playmore has updated its official site with a list of its upcoming
games. The list includes Metal Slug Survival Missions for the Game
Boy Advance and Capcom vs. SNK for the NeoGeo. Unfortunately,
there aren't any details on what Playmore has planned for both
games, but we'll keep you posted.

Official release dates for both games have yet to be announced.

After playing Lilo and Stitch I was only dreaming of MS on the GBA.

it seems obvious to me that the writer just goofed up the SNK vs Capcom title. really obvious.

if you look on videogames.com, the news article itself is under NEO GEO POCKET section, for lack of a neo geo system section...so I dont expect them to know the precise title.

I had A feeling that we would be seeing A metal slug title of some kind on the GBA (sengoku 3 would also work VERRY well, but I am not sure if playmore has enough common sense to realize).
I hope to god that playmore does not screw slug GBA up, cause i could not stand first and second mission on the pocket.

I will admit that slug 2 on the pocket was A good game. it just realy had no replay value AT ALL> the stages were so damn bland, with bosses few and far between. no where near as fun as any of the other slugs (I am not talking about graphics hear, but fun factor). A good game, but quite borring after the first play.

I'll agree with you their, when you've got all the hostages you tend not pick it up much after that. great while it lasts though.

I hope they make a new metal slug, rather than porting MS1, 2, 3, or 4. It will ruin the fun of having the home cart/ <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" />

You're right, but it would be a nice prize if it was Metal Slug: Collection or something like that...throw a few of the Slug games on a GBA cart, I'll buy that in an instant.

I wouldnt expect much. Probably Metal Slug 4 Advance. If it isnt Ill eat my boots.

And I just translated the news on the playmore site (with babelfish).

I have a question. It lists "Place t Shaun 2" as a platform that KOF2k and 2k1 are going to.

(OOPS, thats playstation 2. I get it plays t shaun 2, phonetics suck)

Also listed as a game for the Neo is "New * it is great the whole group of the blood temple (temporary) *" or "新・豪血寺の一族(仮)※" That one doesnt ring a bell at all. And lastly "Ray G * of * the * ドラゴンズ " or "レイジ・オブ・ザ・ドラゴンズ"

I dont have a good translation so thats not helping.

I agree. Sengoku 3 would make a good portable game. It should have stayed portable on the GBA, because it was missing something as a full-blown Home Cart.

I've only played 1st Mission, and I don't play it anymore. No replay. Fun while it lasted though.

Gotta agree.. No matter what kind of Slug game it is I'll be buying. Even if it's a port of one of the neo games!

Though I hope they do something totally new and take ideas from the NGPC games as far as the amount of missions, entering/exiting buildings, and saving your POW data. Then hopefully it will look half as good as the AES games. :)
