Again weird shit in Mexico. No legal stuff this time, I promise. (though some things aren't legal at all)

Everybody talks about converting MVS to home format, but here the shit used to be up side down.

Some arcade dealers here converted AES systems with what they call "pulsators" so that all the wirings and shit fits in an standard jamma cabinet.

The reason for this was that some home carts in Mexico were dumped because people would not buy them at the time, cause SNES was fucking populars (stupid gamers). So arcade dealers went to the markets and bought very cheap those, and then converted the AES.

I got one, and since I haven't found Riding hero on MVS, the shit came in handy, I just stick the mod AES console in my cabinet and that's it.

Ever seen this mod AES in your places?

If I could find an Irritating Maze home cart playable with the standard joystick, my mod AES console would really kick ass on my cabinet!!!

Uhh you don't need to mod a AES system to work on a arcade cabinet, all you need is a jamma finger board, and a neo Scart cable. And wallah, you can use your neo in an arcade cab.

Actually I have seen these cabs

putting the arcade mod in the system and having it default to us arcade mod is what is usally done and have the coin slot trigger a select a or b. the wiring is pretty straight forward and the video they wired up somehow.

I also saw one with a home system and no arcade mod in it. it would register a hit on the start button on the controller when you put in a quarter and also had a note on it that said more or less.

Put quarter in only when the game is on the start at the logo screen. Do not put coins in once your game has started. No refunds will be issued.

I've heard of stuff like that being done on Dreamcasts in the Orient. Never seen it though.
