Ohhhh NICE One.. Nice One...
Now her'es the deal. Do you print this out yourself or do you go to Kinko's??? I am kind re-thinking the format of our Insert page.. and switch to EPS to make it easier on everyone going to Kinko's -OR- offer two formats for the same Insert.. we have the space so it would'nt be a BIG DEAL...
BIO. I will return your mail soon as I am giving things THOUGHT <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
Thankyou-BB <IMG SRC="smilies/tickled.gif" border="0">

I think you should offer both formats, thats what we did when Nick's site was on my server before my DSL went bye bye!

That way, you can take it to Kinkos, get a nice run in the correct printing colors with EPS, or print it at home using the BMP, or EPS if you have the software to do it.

EPS is also easier to edit in Adobe Illustrator! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Looks Great! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Maybe with enough of these one could make a poster of them. Or maybe even a collage that says neogeo made out of inserts.

Not what they were originally designed to do, however the idea intrigues me.

Looks AWESOME! I liked it before you had it available (I saw it in your tutor area). If I can, I will go get it printed tomorrow!!!

I am working on a Real Bout insert of my own right now, but am discovering my lack of PhotoShop knowledge is realy restraining me. I'm actually a decent, if amature, artist and have a good eye for creativity, but the tool set is very foreign to me. I don't know how to add effects to letters, I don't know how to create the letters like you did for the "Sengoku", I don't know how to make certain colors transparent (like you would with a GIF for the web). Very frustrating. I'm dumbing my way through it though.

Maybe I'll post my Real Bout work in progress a little later.

Okay. This is cool by me then... so what we will have is BMP for those who wish to print them out themselves and EPS for the people who use KINKO's(don't want to confuse those guys experts in there :> )
So the word is out to you guys...
GO FOR IT!!
Are we sure we don't want JPG instead of BMP or TIFF maybe??
Let me know...

JPG and BMP have color degragation, colors bleed together and cause a fuzzy none solid color (like most of the scans on your site BB). I spent over an hour cleaning up the Ganryu flyer and I am still working on it, but it is almost 100% solid colors again. TIFF and EPS allow for high quality with little to no lose, that is my pick for a format (and at this resolution they are almost all the same size).

Ryo,

What I do for the title is to either get a really high quality scan (hard way) or you can take a screen shot of it on an emulator. Then just take the magic wand and spend an hour or so cutting it out. Its a pain and dont mess up!!!! Then you can touch it up however you want <IMG SRC="smilies/tickled.gif" border="0">

Give me the specs on a TIFF file...what would you compare it to?? The size of the file...I am familiar with this... I mean it really makes no sense to work hard on an insert and degrade the quality...so TIFF or JUST EPS may be the way to go here...
I really can't see somone 'BLOWING' through their Color Cartridge on a home Printer like that.. It's just too cheap and easy to get it done at Kinko's!!
How about just EPS unless TIFF allows the ease of a Home Printer and what we'll do is eliminate those NGF Inserts altogether and start FRESH....
I mean I am flexible..I just want what's BEST
