I will be in new york city for the neo summit (I'm usaully in the city any way) and after words I will head over to the china town fair arcade in china town where all of the games are REAL games, not the latest 3-d fair. one thiird of the games are neo games. here is what is currently there(neo wise):

all KOF's accept 94
nightmare in the dark
strikers 1945 plus
karnovs revenge
samurai showdown 4
bust A move
and magical drop 2

all neo games with the ecception of kof 2000 and 98 are on didicated 2 and 4 slot cabs.
other games include all the street fighter 3 installments, capcom vs snk, marvel vs capcom 2 and many others including a handfull of shmups for shooter freaks.
I am also going to want to see if another forum member wants to meet up and go to A pizzarea where they have slug 3 (the only slug I have not played)

if ANYONE wants to meet up let me know.
I will be going there regardles. I also know of other arcades like one HUGE one near braodway that is 2 to 3 levels.
if any one has any other suggestions post them here. we could have KOF tournaments, see if the operator would let us bring our own MVS games(I could ask him next week)
trade neo stuff, or do any thing else you guys can come up with.


if this actually happens it would be cool to meet some of the people on this forum (and the many others attending) plus you will actually get to see who I really am.

Well man it would be a drive but it is something that I am pondering over. It would be wuite a drive but I am considering taking the trip out there. I have to wait for more details and I will create a decision based on thet. I am sure I will be talking to you about it later.

I've been trying my hardest to make some time to get to the Chinatown Fair... I haven't been able to tear myself away from work for close to 2 years to spend a good day down there... but I would most certainly like to get involved with this, considering that I don't live too far from NYC (I'm there everyday for my job, gym, etc...) and it would be great to meet a lot of other Neo gamers out there, especially in the NYC or NJ areas.

Orpheus, keep me updated on this. And if you want some help getting this set up, you can drop me an e-mail.

Hello again. Ray (from !ARCADE!) Emailed me and said that he thought this would be A great idea. so he said if enough people go he will hand out prizes to the winners of any tournaments that go on. this sounds pretty cool to me, accept only two people have expressed interest so if there is no feed back or no people who wish to attend I will tell arcade! that its just not happening. take care everyone.

What's up Mitch? A friend of mine showed me where the arcade was. I used to go there all the time about 8 years ago. Anyway I've been going there the last 2 Fridays usually about 2:30- 6:30.
Let me know about a date for a KOF tournament or just hanging out.

p.s. I found a spot that sells tons of KOF and Capcom vs. SNK comics on Grand street also that Japanese bookstore starts w/ a K on 49th I heard they have all the SNK art books. I think it's called Kinkuya or something.
