Maybe that's an unusual frame, but that does not look like 2K2 Kim at all to me. Not too much like the earlier KOF's either.

I think there'd be some sort of special effect going on if it was a super of any sort.

You could be right, but when I look at the vid clips of the game there aren't any special effects only when the DM is triggered. Look at Ken when he does his DM's in the vid clip.

I'm really enjoying the prefight dialogues we're seeing so far. The Ryu vs Ryo pic (#5 on the first page of screenshots) had me cracking a smile. My rough translation:

Ryu: "The Strongest Tiger. I've heard of you."
Ryo: "...that's the other guy. I'm the Dragon."

(in the Ryuuko no Ken / Art of Fighting series, Ryo is referred to as "Muteki no Ryuu" [The Invincible Dragon] while Robert is known as "Saikyou no Tora" [The Strongest Tiger])

What the hell is with everyone wanting to draw Chun-Li with such monstrous thighs? Look at that picture with Kyo...her legs are almost bigger around than Kyo's whole body!

Maybe she needs to cut back on the Ben & Jerry's...

thing is, with the blur of the earlier pictures (pre-vids), the graphics appear to be pontentially much better than they really are. if you scroll up and take a look at guile - then check out the pics of him in the link, he looks very unremarkable...

My only real worry now is maybe gameplay.

I really hope this game plays as good as it looks. I'm not yet convinced Playmore can fill SNK's shoes in that category.
