Thank you for pointing that out LWK. After the JOKE that was LB2 U.S. release, by Agetec, I wouldn't be surprised if they fucked up MOTW for the U.S. too. Also I was not to happy with the 3D BG's in the KOF evo release myself, and they censored whips gun as well.
I mean how hard is it to implament simple things? Hell they don't even have to, just translate the damn thing agetec!
Like taking a cake and ripping off the cherry and topings, by the time your done all you'll have left is a loaf of bread.
Sad how capcom's games get basically the full representation, while SNK's third party producers chop the things like hell.
They'd probably shit there pants in a real confrontation.
Lets hope they learned there lesson, not that it matters they already ruined a great game like LB2 anyway.
No respect for there shoddy franchise or there poor judgement.
Surely they can see how dumb a move censoring the good parts of a game were.
They go and ruin the best shit, its almost purposely.

That's cool that MOTW is coming to the US in DC form...
But unfortunately it seems that everyone is hopping on the Sony bandwagon.
A local Blockbuster where I live has stopped carrying Dreamcast games.
But the strange thing is...they still have N64 games...

Agetec already lost ALL respect I had for them, so I could give a rats ass if they release it or not, I already have the shiney new import version pre ordered, I suggest you all do the same!
Every SNK game agetec has released on the DC has been censored in some way, don't wait for the US version, find out its censored, and then find out you can't buy the import, cause it's sold out!
I know many that did that with Last Blade 2, plus Agetec has a habit of not saying ANYTHING about whats getting censored, they didn' mention the white blood in LB 2 ect.
So don't wait till you get the US version home, and find out your screwed, IMPORT.

i too am taking my chances on the import version.
Every SNK game that SNK has released in the US has also been censored!!! Do they no longer deserve any respect?
In this era of gaming, any 2d fighter without "street fighter" in the name is not a mainstream title... agetec deserves props for taking chances and releasing games like LB2 and MOTW for the hardcore crowd.
(I think a bigger problem than the censorship on the LB2 release,which was done by SNK, was the instruction booklet being changed to B&W instead of color.. the original Japanese book has beautiful color art)

However the point you miss here is that every SNK game is in fact NOT PERMANENTLY CENSORED, each game contains the full code . . . and with the installation of a simple language switch/debug bios, the entire game is available.
Last Blade 2 for the U.S. DC was PERMANENTLY censored. No code or switch will restore the missing content. Thus, it and most other crappy Agetec ports have been permanently damaged . . . <IMG SRC="smilies/mad.gif" border="0"> and will never have a place in my collection.

dude...using a modifyed bios is NOT exactly endorsed by SNK otherwise they would offer them. they are MEANT to be played as the censored versions in the us. you cant blame agetec without blaming SNK. So stop fucking bithcing

Well, I got the Last Blade 2 U.S. version upon release, unaware of the censorship. When I got it, at first, I was kind of pissed. But then I realized that losing twenty bucks wasn't the end of the world. I actually play it on occasion. I will probably skip on the U.S. release of MOTW on the DC, and just get the MVS version. I just basically think that you can't blame Agetec for everything. At least they're porting the games, and therefore, supporting SNK.
If someone gets the U.S. version, I would appreciate to hear how it turned out. If there is nothing major missing, then I may pick it up, but probably not.

Back in '93, when SNK censored Samurai Shodown,
many many fans called & bitched.
I waited on the phone for over an hour, too get too someone & explode.
When you sell a product too adults,
then butcher it, your damn right to get complaints.
Many loud & noisy complaints.
SNK promised us arcade perfect translations.
US MVS systems dont do that.
When you blatantly lie to fans, you deserve what u get.
That happened with snk still giving us a way to play uncensored.
Had they locked us out 100%, many of us would have taken it back to the store.
Seems like nothing changed, except some fans
are arguing on behalf of the corporations mistakes.
