Sengoku 3 on NeoStore Coming Soon list!

Hey, I just noticed that the "coming soon" area of the NeoStore has Sengoku 3 listed. It doesn't specify English or Japanese though. Although, I will say the volume of carts is EXACTLY that of the English, Metal Slug 3 release. Hmmm. <IMG SRC="smilies/spock.gif" border="0">

It must be the English version since the Japanese name of that game is "Sengoku Densyo 2001" and not "Sengoku 3" as listed on the coming soon page.

Is that relevant though? I mean the full name of Garou is Garou: Mark of the Wolves but it's listed in the Price Guide as just Mark of the Wolves.

You're right, Rasa, which is why my fingers and toes are still crossed. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> I hope it is English, but if not, I'll buy just the same. I really like the previous Sengokus. This looks to be fun as well. <IMG SRC="smilies/drool2.gif" border="0">

I can hardly wait!

Hope they make an English version too so it'll match part one and two in my collection.

Haven't seen the game in person yet but in one of the movies I downloaded Sengoku 3 looks to have more of a Final Fight style gameplay (nothin' wrong with that). But the animation looks so much better.

Looks like it will be available as an English release at NeoStore much like Metal Slug 3. The price is $285 if you preorder, $295 later.

Ryo,

if you liked the previous Sengoku games, you'll like this one, but i just to let you know, i grew a beard playing this game...if that means anything to you. the gameplay is much tighter and it has some cool combos, but after you beat the same enemy for the 700th time, you start to wonder when this game will end. well, we're all hardcore gamers here, so let's see who can finish this marathon game without complaining how "dull" it was. we'll have a post on the feedback of Sengoku 3 once everyone here has had a chance to play it.

some may ask the question the other way,"How bad was the first Sengokus?" actually, part two was pretty good, but the one thing that makes Sengoku is the lack of scrolling backgrounds. it's weird though, even without the depth even though you hate this game, you want to play it anyway. you'll soon see if you're gonna get it. if you haven't played the first two, you may not like this one. or you may.
