Well....I remember a while back that there was a debate on whether or not the NEO BOMBERMAN MVS cart was only in Spanish. I have the game. I have an AES system. I have a bios chip and a CONVERTOR. So i put my hypothesis to work. I changed the language to Japanese and the story mode and text were in, well, Japanese. DUH! Then I changed it to the US mode, and well, ENGLISH text. DUH again! Then I changed it to EUROPE, and well, the text came up in SPANISH! So I think that anyone who has this game on MVS and is playing it in their cab, the cab mother board is EUROPEAN. This is the ONLY Neo game I have ever seen to have 3 languages on it. That's cool to me. Just thought I would share my findings with everyone....and yeah I think this is news....since it was to me!

Actually it does answer a few questions to me as well. Thanks for the update. It leaves a few things to think about.

That's what I posted at that time, but no one wanted to believe that.

I remember Jeff Kurtz saying he'd never seen a US AES console with the territory byte set to US. I'd guess that folks using a converter on an unmodified US console would get Spanish then?

I too have heard that the default for the AES is European.

This is the first time I've heard that validated.

hmm...makes you wonder what else is affected by it being in Euro-mode.

Anyone with Street Slam & a US system got something to add to that? I thought it played in US mode, with the American teams.

I have Neo Bomberman (MVS) and the text on my tv (playing the MVS through a MAS Super Nova) is Spanish! I've been wondering about that for a while, thanks for shedding some light on the subject!

Also, I have a converted Bust-A-Move/Puzzle Bobble cart. I thought that BAM was the english version, yet on my US home system, the title screen comes up as "Puzzle Bobble". Anbody have any ideas on that one? Is there actually a BAM title screen at all?

*shrug* This is just what I heard in passing. I honestly didn't pay much creedance to it until I heard someone else mention it.

It could be total bullshit.

Bust A Move is another one, same as Bust A Move again. On a European system you will get the different title screen (which is very cool in 2) and the game is called Puzzle Bobble, and Puzzle Booble 2 (Green with animation).
