Hi everyone.
Anyone who's waiting for me to get the neo turf masters can probably forget about it...
I found out that this guy is a scam artist who only scams people out of the states. I'm in Canada so I can't do too much. I sent him five games in return for five games and a controller. This guy is:

Chris Parsons
PO Box 301
Enterprise WV 26568
USA

Is there anything I can do? Can I get the Enterprise police to do anything?

I am currently in the process of working remotely with an officer to deal with an eBay thief. The difference with my case is that this person ripped off a number of people (using eBay) simultaneously. Kind of a hit and run tactic. If there is only one victim (say, you, in this case) it becomes more of a civil case and, unfortunately, you're kinda' fucked from a Police standpoint. However, if you know of other people that have had this happen, you can pool your stories of woah and, as a whole, you create a racketeering scenario thta is actionable by the police.

Another step I would take would be to file with the US Postal Service. Using the POstal Service to defraud another is a Felony. If nothing else, they will deny him the use of the PO box and any additional people being stolen from will probably just hav etheir stuff sent back. Call 800-ASK-USPS and they can help you.

Do what you can. Fucks like this need grief.

sometimes a phone call is enough to scare them into sending stuff. that greatly depends on how old they are though.

There are a lot of things you can do in terms of reporting this theft/scam. Mouse_master went through a lengthy process to force Dion to send him 2 Neo carts that he paid for. There was a thread created by him (Mouse_master) detailing many different avenues to pursue . . . its in the forums somwhere, if you search you can find it. He's not online right now but can give you more detail when he gets on later today/tonight.

Oh and btw, Dion did eventually send the carts . . . with FREAKED inserts!! <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

I've heard of that guy before. I'm pretty sure he is (or was) a GameTZ user....

...

yeah, he was:

http://gametz.com/user/GameExchanger.html

Why don't you try getting in touch with those people? They might be able to help you. Jean Wainer is one of my Brazilian buds, I'm sure he'd do all he can to help you, if there is anything he can do.

I hope that helps man...

West Virigina is between Virginia and PA...Chimpmeister and I could go and beat some sense into him. Get your game, if he has it, and steal the rest as "Spoils of War".

Whaddya say, Chimp?

That would be nice.

If someone got ripped, the angels of the forums come to help him out.

Let's think about his face when he is about to rip off someone else...

maybe Chimp can propose him a deal and send first the item with HAND-DELIVERY!

Yes,it's would be worth the treip from Italy to see a scammer in trap...

Please,if it's the case,just do it...

Man, another ripoff case from GameTZ, that's the reason why I don't do trades with people I don't know, only through careful search and references.

Holy Smokes..... I looked at the name the first time and it looked familiar, but not until chainsawyak (an old UGTZ friend) posted his UGTZ name did I remember trading with GameExchanger aka Chris Parsons. Weird enough, my trade actually went through... he was a shady character tho, and I didn't trust him. Lucky thing for me being in the U.S. I always send with Delivery Confirmation to keep a tight noose handy if ever someone steps outta line, an option not available to those not in the U.S. My trade was completed only a few weeks before the BTR's popped up on his page....

João Lauandos posted one of the BTR's, and I had personally traded with this guy also (he was a really nice guy at the time). He emailed me asking me for help regarding Chris Parsons.... Having traded with Chris Parsons I had his name on my AOL IM, so I directly confronted Chris about João Lauandos. Of course he denied it all and downplayed João Lauandos character. Which at the time hinted to me that he was lying...... the saga continues.....

Well now if you look at João Lauandos UGTZ page you can see that after he was ripped big time he apparently went awal and pulled the same tactic on someother guy......

(I feel like the MailMan in "Jingle All the Way" Quote: This is a SICK world we're living in..... a SICK world!)

Just thought I would add my story.... dunno if it is of any value tho....

Best Wishes

Oh does, anyone know this guy's phone number? I found two Parsons in Enterprise but I don't know if either of them are for the guy I'm looking for. Can I get any information from his PO Box?

Gerken! Long time no see man, nice to see you around these parts!

The Webmiester, I think the fact that he has a P.O. box will make it easier for you to find his phone number... If you're lucky, Enterprise, WV isn't a backwoods shit-kicker town, and you can just call the post office in that city and ask what phone number he registered the P.O. box to... But chances are Enterprise, WV is a backwoods shit-kicker town, so it may take a little more looking to find the P.O. near him...

Gerken, help me out here... Was Chris Parsons the guy that ripped someone else off, and someone found out his phone number and called and talked to his Grandmother? I think it might be, or I might just be thinking of someone else...
The Webmiester, if I were you I would just call both of those numbers and ask if they have a little boy named Chris who likes stealing videogames from people. Maybe one of those people will be him... If not, you could always ask if there's a P.O. in Enterprise, and if not what the phone number of the nearest one is...

Actually no. That was another kid who lived in Calafornia.... (who ripped me off of a DC game) and then I checked with others on ugtz, one of which was 8oP (a ugtz kid) told me that he was ripped off of a system and some games, but his Father called the police in California and were able to track down his number (which is unlisted, I know, I actually tried to get his number with his address). 8oP's father than called their house and had a word or two with the kids parents which led to 8oP getting his stuff back (something about some police threat). But after that..... there was no change the kid still attempted to get back on UGTZ and rip off people... I unmasked him a few times a while back cause he was stupid enough to use the same AIM name....

So.... no Chirs Parsons is not that guy....

ANYWAY Something interesting.... I was checking through my delivery confirmation receipts and found the one I got when I sent Chris Parsons game....

His address is listed as:

Chris Parsons
Rt1, Box 32
Enterprise, WV 26568

Don't know if this makes any difference....

You could call the police... thats what they did in 8oP's case and it worked out. Then again depending on what kindof police depart ment they have in that city err.... backroad town...... it might do no good.... I'd say give it a shot.

Plz keep us updated

Probably a bad thing to do, but here is the neighbor's info:

Parsons, Aaron Jon Claude
Rr 1 Box 31,
Enterprise, WV 26568-9613
(304)592-1941

One box up! You could try that number. I found a second one, but could not locate an address for it (yet!).

Good luck!

BTW, if you want to start causing trouble....
