I was just checking www.gamefront.de where it was said that SNK was going to convert KOF2000 to DC!!! Great news!

Oh and even better news is that SNK are producing METAL SLUG 4, SAMURAI SHODOWN 5 and GAROU:MOTW 2!!!! No release dates as of yet though..

Gamezone is a good gaming magazine, with a tendency of supporting us hardcore gamers. The Gamezone people review many new arcade games, and their mag is very dedicated; a cool bunch of freaky people, and a nearly ad-free magazine. Which is cool anyway.

I hope MS4 will get an AES release, too...

Sounds cool, though I am pretty sure it will never see a US release. I think it would be neat if they would add some movies to the game, that would be cool to see as a little extra.

If SNK does release KOF 2k, I hope they leave the 2-D backgrounds in the game if they make 3-D ones too. Have sort of a select option.

But at this point in the DC's life, I don't see SNK going the 3-D stages, it would be much easier to release a straight port of KOF 2k with no background enhancments, which doesn't bother me at all.

I would think this rumor is true, with MOTW on the way, with what seems to be a straight foward port.
Publishers in japan must see this for the golden opportunity it is. Porting a popular game to a more powerful system(DC) should be pretty cheap and easy, I imagine they would probadly sell 50,000 to a 100,000 units.
While that doesn't seem like alot pulishers could still make money because there not funding development for the game, only the cost of "porting" it.

If they sell as many units as you said, I would be pretty good for SNK, helping them to keep on doing games on neogeo(its easier with money than with ideas only).

That's two out of the big three. First Garou, now KOF 2000. Hopefully Metal Slug 3 will be on the way... (Cross your fingers!)
