Cart size errors ?

Ok, I recently opened my Baseball Stars 2 cart to check out inside it.

Well, box says 68Mbits, but there is ROMs for only 58Mbits in the cart... <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0">

I then downloaded the dump ROM to verify this, which seems correct (dump is 57,5Mbits)

Anyone knows about this ?
Does other carts got errors ?
Is in fact Garou only 16MBits ? <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I want a refound for my missing 10Megs, anyone knows where to call at SNK ? <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I want to refund my KOF98, 99 and 2000 because I just want 330 megs Max and they give me extra megs which I dont' want.

SNK just wants to rip people off so we have to force to buy those extra megs.

All I want is 330 max and that's about it <IMG SRC="smilies/makeface.gif" border="0">

Well, Magician lord seems to also wear an count error, cart seems to be 42Mbits, and not 46Mbits as stated by SNK... <IMG SRC="smilies/spock.gif" border="0">

Well, I now have 14Mbits missing in action... <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

I am sure most of the numbers are "Inflated" to make them seem bigger as well. after all that was the biggest selling points of the neo was the mega size on the carts. trash rally is only 11mbits from what I was told from a former snk employee.

Well, that's true ROMs mustn't be filled to the last bit, but i'm talking ROM size, not game size.

Admitting you need an extra 500Kbits, you need an additional ROM is your cart, if smallest produced size is now, say, 8MBits, you put a 8Mb ROM, only filled with 500Kb...

Neo cart size are calculated regarding ROM size, not game size, anyway Magician Lord and Baseball Stars 2 Megs counts are still wrong... <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

Personally, KOF 2000 could be 2 megs and they could lie about the existance of the other 686 megs in the game. As long as it plays true to the arcade, I'm happy, even if the box is wrong.

Actually, I believe that KOF 2000 is 682 megs, not 688. I think I remember reading it was a print error a while back...anyone else remember that? Infact, when NGF converted the MVS carts to fake the home release really early on, their inserts originally said 682. If you remember, it had a vertical insert which featured all the character portraits layer on top of each other...Mai was in the front.>>>

Déjà, je me demande comment il fait pour ouvrir une cartouche sans la casser. Il doit y avoir una astuce car je n'ai jamais réussi(sauf pour les MVS).
Sorry, I just wonder how he did to open a cartidge without breaking it(for them who do not understand french).

Just concentrate, then touch the cart with your little finger, bam, it's open <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

If it doesn't work, you can use standard hammer <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">
