Make it so someone with the same IP cannot make various fake user names.
I have seen some crazy ass shit lately.
Hell even back when I was using these fake accounts it was a cinch to register a new nick, in a sad way it almost appears as though this is ok.
I would appreciate it if there was a lock out, as members can be easily framed.
Take for example the newest member which is not my doing!
"Lord Krauser"
Now check the question I posed this Lord Dragon guy in the warroom.
From my knowledge this move is a possibility.
Its worth a shot, its a sad day when every person posting in the warroom ends up just bogus accounts, IP lock out is the best choice IMO.

LOL exactley. There is no way to stop someone with the same IP from making multiple accounts. You'd have to ban them all together.

Not to mention he can get his little Backdoor Buddy kyoisthekof to make accounts for him.

Ban all the safeweb, anonomous shit, and that will solve the problems of people hiding, then to find out whos fake just check their IP's, in krausers case that isn't even needed, krausers so fake anything he types screams fake as well. It's so easy to spot it's not even funny.

I agree with whats been said above about making account IPs visible.
Its easy for people to point the finger at LWK, ad for that matter Kyo and Tonk etc. But without proof, we dont know, do we?
It's just as possible that someone is trying to make it look as though LWK is doing it!
After all half the "Newbie Spammers" are LWK clones in one way or another?

First of all, I have nothing to defend myself from, because I don't use fake names.

2nd in LWKs case we DO have proof. It is Blatent also, so many people wouldn't be saying it, if it wasn't apparent.

Notice when Shawn banned LWK and kyoisthekof that there was a certain calm over here? (LWK who ran to neolords board under the fake name Kain R. Heinlein, even though he HAD LWK registered there already, hmm he doesn't use fake names right?)

It was especially calm in the war room, then when these 2 lovers come back, the dumb shit starts up again.

I am afraid me and my bro badkhan use the same PC (internet connection) to access the internet. so, if such a thing is implemented then one of us will lose his account <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> . so if u are planning something like this then i would recommend if u just display the IP addresses rather restricting two different accounts to access the forums using same IP.
