One called like "The Challangers" or "The Hook-up"
or....

One that you can post like Arcade Tournements, Get togethers or Invite people to challange. That way they don't float to the bottem, and Newbies can find if there was a gathering in their area easier, so they can contact each other!

If you could do this that would be great. Thanks Shawn.

P.S. This has nothing to do with the Lower Mississippi River Get together that I am trying to plan ;)

Truthfully its a wonderful Idea. In just about every forum I go to there is a get together like forum and they are extremely helpful. At Tekken Zaibatsu they have the "Matchfinder forum", at Virtua Fighter.com they have the "Jamboree forum" and at various other places they have all these other neat little names. So why not have the "Neo Meet Forum" or "SNK Stomping Ground Forum", or "Neo Geo Battle Arena Forum" or something in the line of that?

Its such a good Idea.

I also think this is a kick-ass idea. It'd be nice if one corner of the site catered to people who actually like to meet and throw down, rather than just provide more grazing space for trolls.

I agree, a seperate Topic Area devoted to meetings, tournaments, etc. would be a good addition. Keeping the information all in one place, so it does not get buried by the 10,000th "How Do I Get Blood And Bounce In KOF '94?" or "Metal Slug Sells For Big $$$ On eBay" Thread.

I was actually going for something that sounded like one of those dating gameshows from the 70's but yeah it could be a soap opera or something. Andy finds out Mai is pregnant with Terry's child while Joe was in a buswreck and is in a coma teetering on the edge of death! On tomorrow's episode... well that's a good idea!! maybe the next time there's an austin gamers get together, i'll be able to get there. and not find out about it two weeks after it's over. go for it make a board just for that, just for get togethers.

Thanks for all the support guys.

Bio hit the point on the head with his comment. See the event that I am planning won't happen for over a month and there will be points with no updates. Like if kim only browsed the boardswhen the updates weren't happening he would just pass right over it (and probably did) It would probably be a very easy board to moderate, and could have stricter rules, with off topic threads moved very quickly (e.g. "I Challange you to SUK MY NIZUTS!" threads)
