I think it loses its luster when you do it for yourself. Just put something 'clever' and 'interesting' :rolleyes:

Works well over at snk-capcom. Was there honor in spamming and getting automated ones before ?

That's what makes the mod-given ones more interesting.

a) They're not the result of spamming.

b) They're not some lame stupid one-liner you think represents you and you feel everyone else should know.

I'd rather have a mod give me a rank than have one picked by me. It makes the forum more fun, if you give one to yourself people will ask why'd you pick "insert rank here" for a rank?

Yes, right now its this great priviledge! But who cares if the 30 active posters here change thier rank lol What is there to lose? Impressing one of us by getting one bestowed opon you tickled Anyone who is EW buddy gets one, and anyone who is on the verge of bannishment does, is that special?

Well,i like the rank system but i think it's better that the mods made one up for each of us,even though it may be a pain in the ass for them.

They have much more thought and are more interesting than one you just make up.Loses the 'magic' and the whole point of it me,the whole fun of it all.Giby exlained it much better,100% agreed with what he said.
