Improved Chat system????

While I do not have a problem with the chat system currently being used, I think it would be nice if you could see somewhere how many people were in chat.

If something like this was displayed on the side emnu bar, that would be a GREAT addition to neo-geo.com

We had an excellent chat last not that was not planned in any way, but we had 5 Neo Fans together at once.

Anyone know of software to accomplish this? Does the current chat client have support for this???

It sounds to me like you're wanting something similar to Gooey (http://www.gooey.com/). Of course, "Gooey" isn't proprietary, but the system seems similar to what you're hinting at. I've never used anything like this before. If anyone ever wants to talk to me, I'm usually idling in #snk and #neogeo on EFnet.
