I saw my profile, and the publicly displayed name part is locked, shouldn't it be free to use for the discretion of the members and not the administrators?

You pick a name and stick with it. Its pretty simple. If you no longer like your name, re register.

I think it shouldn't be unlock, imagine someone changing names everyday, would you like to see that scence?

I wanted to change it because I wanted to unify all my names in all forums I'm subscribed to. Howeever, come to think of it, I'll do it backwards
