There's a dumb and non logic rule with the Flood control policy that needs to be fixed.

Everytime you post a topic, post, quote or whatever with more than 7 pictures/graemlins by mistake and click on the "add reply/new topic" will receive the famous message :

Sorry, we can not process your request. The board administrator has enabled flood protection for this function. You must wait at least 60 seconds before trying this request again.

Yes. Indeed there's no reason I should go back to correct the pictures/graemlins issue and have to wait again 60 seconds.

If the board does not accepts posts with 8 pictures/graemlins and send you back to correct your post, why should have we to wait if the post didn't count ? If the reply/topic wasn't posted what's the purpose of the flood control here ?

AH Flood control was really making me mad tonight! Is there anyway it can't apply to PM's as well?

What about if only Junior Members were under the effects of flood control. I dont think anyone would take the time to post 50 legitamate posts just so they could get member status and then spam away. But i dont know will the bbs software allow for something like that?

Until we upgrade to new forum software, there's no point in asking for customizations to UBB. So, while all these are good points, it might be best to wait until that happens, THEN ask for changes like these.

No idea. It is dependent on some migration tools being finished for UBB to VB (the new forum software). Those tools were supposed to be finished 2 months ago, and they're still not done. I'm not sure if this is the right link for the VB development site, but if it isn't someone please correct me:
