Not free but maybe a bit bigger.....but forced to a bigger size becausei hate forums when they have lots of different sized avatars everywhere!!

yea what i mean is that we can have avatar of any size, but is limited to a particular size, like 120x120 or 150x150.

but we can also have a smaller avatar (just like before) of say 50x50 without being forced to get bigger (64x64).

i suppose it depends what Res you are running your monitor at i mean at home i run at 1280x1024 and everything looks minute and i think bigger would be better!

but.....here at work i am running 800x600 and to be honest my avatar looks fucking huge lol so it really depends what the most popular monitor resolution is....?

If the avatar size limit is raised to something like 120x120 or 150x150 it would be nice.

What about raising the avatar size limit but adding the size limit to the images in sigs and putting a limit to the number of characters in sigs?

Maybe that would work...

no no don't get me wrong.

the pixel size can be big, but the actual size (in kB) should not exceed like say 50kB.

no offense, but the pixel size is my problem. just have a look at forums like s-c.com. imo, it looks as if pictures were more important, than the posted text.

ok, avatars might look tiny on higher resolutions, but i'd say, that most of us are using 1024x768.
