Can we try reducing flood control a little...

We haven't had any mass complaining and everything on the boards seems to be in check..

Even takin it to 45 seconds would be great...

It really is about time. How about reducing it to 45 seconds and if you start to have problems with one or two particular users, just make it so they can't post for 2 minutes or something.

It's just a suggestion, but could the flood control for PMs be removed? They don't contribute to post count in any way, and they can't be used to spam...
The most PMs I ever sent one after the other was two, but the 90 sec. between the two PMs is still a bit annoying.
Just my 2 cents...

EDIT : This is the second try for this post: The first time I tried I got an error. Then I still had to wait 90 secs. until I posted again ( not really again , since it never got posted the first time because it came up with an error ).

Why do I get the flood control message sometimes when I try to post a message, when the last post I made was 2 hours ago, or the even the day before. <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

Flood control has been reduced from 90 seconds to 60 seconds. The 60 second delay is not only here to reduce spam, but also increase the quality of the posts.

IMO, people should take at least one minute between posts. This is not a chat room. A member must read a topic and hopefully all replies within a topic to form a relevant reply. Honestly, > one minute should be involved for reading and posting.

If everyone read and replied within 10 seconds, the entire board would look like the SNK War Room. However, if everyone took a minimum of 5 minutes between posts (to read and reply), we would obviously have an increased quality of content.
