KILL THE NEWS FORUM

Either kill it, or rename it "War Room II: The Sequel." Did I miss something? Wasn't the forum supposed to be about SNK/NeoGeo news? The only thing that goes on in the news forum now is people accusing each other of destroying the NeoGeo market, then flaming each other repeatedly. That's what the "War Room" forum is for.

Why aren't these threads getting moved out of news and general?

I really, really think the board would be a lot better if the mods would take the initiative and move flame wars to the flame war forum, and off-topic posts to the off-topic forum. Please.

I agree..or at least really crack down on what consitutes 'news'. Most of that stuff should be in Unrelated Topics or The Warroom...maybe even in some cases General Discussion. But definately not News.

I agree, the war room has become and unrealted topics room, the unrelated topic has become the news forum and the news forum has become a war room! Can't people read this shit?

And for the past two weeks the mods have been relocating threads to the warroom, unrelated, or general discussion. Yes, people still post to the wrong areas, but that's what the mods are here for.

But the mods do not inform these repeat offenders about their spamming topics in the wrong room. They just move the topic and the people start lamer ones.

repeat offending spammers get a different kind of "notice" called suspension. Most of the time it's innocent, so the mods just relocate the posts.
