Shawn, about chimpmeister...

1 Question:

Why hasn't he been banned yet?

His lies have been exposed for all to see in both the news and the war room (although the "to chimpmeister, from Heed" topic was was recently closed, for reasons beyond my understanding). I'd like to know what you (or him, for that matter) plan to do regarding this situation.

He has some serious explaining and apologizing to do. Why is it that you condone his immature behavior?

If you haven't done so already, I suggest you read the "AES prices going up?" thread in the News forum and the "to chimpmeister, from Heed" thread in the war room (personally, I think he was the one responsible for it being moved there, in more ways than one). After reading those two, I'd like to know how you plan to take action.

This above thread contains flames from him that are easily on a par with the most infamous posters this board has seen. Some of the nastier stuff he says, such as the "moron, greedy SOB, fleecer, hypocrite" and what-have-you is, as is documented clearly on these boards, 100% flaming material which is COMPLETELY unfounded and uncalled for.

This other link was created as a means for me to defend myself in the midst of his flames; a trend of his which continues well throughout each and every one of his posts in the thread. Notice how, even after I have re-registered, he completely evades and ignores the questions asked of him and relies on his last-sentence quips and put-downs.

Shawn, I know you aren't blind. All I want to know is what plans to be done about this. It warrents a permanent ban; or at least a suspension in my eyes. What he did was mis-quote me and manipulate my threads in an effort to label me as a "moron, greedy SOB, fleecer, etc." I don't expect these insults to go unnoticed; let alone when they're fabricated out of thin air all for the purpose of putting me under.

I tried to access the links posted and I got an error message saying "Hack attempt logged" or something. That's kind of scary. Like me trying to click the urls Heed listed was a hack attempt? I think not. Still, although it's not my business, I'm bored and want to read the story...

Heed, neither of the links you provided are working/accurate. I did review the thread: Will price of AES console go up?

Based on this thread, you instigated the argument with chimpmeister, as he never referred to you until you first referred to him. I assume that the argument was taken to the war room, a forum in which pretty much anything goes.

I cannot issue the ban you request unless the accused has physically threatened, hacked, created multiple bogus accounts, or intentionally flooded the boards.

Furthermore, I prefer not to be involved or serve as a mediator for the current debate between the two of you.
