I' d like to see photos ,wiring diagrams and all around system info for mvs and homecart systems. Hell, basic cart guts shots would be nice also. You know, all the RGB, sound and whatnot. Just to help us unlearned folk familiarize ourselves with what makes the system tick. This is pretty much what i' m asking for --=> http://www.system16.com/sega/hrdw_stv.htm

I dont know if this will be of any help, but I had scans of a weird looking opened burning fight, I doubt its a boot but its weird.
I was originally going to add it to the idea of a "bad goods list"
The problem was, and still is
there is just not enough fact to back it up, thus the bad goods list did not come to be. ;(
I had alot of stuff prepared, I wiped out my stuff so I can scan ya some new ones if you need them.
Cool? <IMG SRC="smilies/cool.gif" border="0">

About the pcb's I have a SLOT-1F, that I could scan in pieces, (to wide for the scanner)

If you need any, just email me and I will see what I can work out.

Sounds good. I just thought it' d be cool for neogeo.com to have a section dedicated to the innerworkings of the system like the page I posted. It won' t make life any easier. It' d just be cool to read the broken down specs... Did the hyper 64 just not catch on in america? I' ve never seen one here... I remember a long time ago when EGM showed some pics of Showdown 64 and I thought it would' ve been popular.. but, I guess todays PSX feeble minded generation don' t respect what good programmers can do with decade old technology.

Yep, every bit of info helps us learn more about the neo architecture.
I am going to get my system modded, I would like to do it myself though, it could'nt be to hard.

I just need somewhere to purchase the parts, it will save me from a shipping fee, and parting with my neo. I have been pretty good with tech stuff. (I repaired a port on the slot I listed where the control out went bad.)
I just took a wire and connected it to the side which would not reach (a small implosion caused this originally)

If you need the pics just mail me.

A neo specs section would not hurt.

Learning as much as you can about the system would really help alot of us.

Good thinking, Jallandhara.

Some decent infos about mod jobs (Bios replacements, PAL->NTSC, etc.) would also be cool. Yeah, there's gamesx.com, but most Neo related topics really suck (specially the CD modding section).
