You know how some sites post pics of pop machine sightings like the old OK Soda?

Well, why not have our members take pictures from all over the country and world for MVS sightings in public places?

I would do it.

Just a suggestion.

Is there really "Too far"? Actually check that, yes there is (NGF, cough). I think this is sort of goofy funny in a "All your base belong to us" sort of way.

All your MVS belong to us!"

Make it a page dedicated to sightings of Neo-Geo's in out of the way places (Like North Pole, Alaska) and you should be fine. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Yea that'd be cool, like neo machines in the middle of nowhere, or odd places.

I actually like this idea! MVS cabinets in my area it's so rare that it's almost like seeing Elvis or something.

I've seriously thought about it, but I would need space to host it. It would not be anything fancy by any stretch of the imagineation, but it would be useful.

Northern Exposure was filmed in Roslyn, Washington, not in Alaska. That is why the cafe was named Roslyn's Cafe, as the real name was The Roslyn Cafe, and they just touched up the sign for their shots.

Well, if you've ever been to MN, an MVS in a public place is a rare thing indeed nowadays.

There's actually 1 or 2 MVS's in very out of the way places in Pittsburgh.

There's something called The Clarke Building in Pittsburgh. 90% is NOTHING but wholesale jewlery, gold, diamond and precious stone dealers. Needless to say the dealers have a fairly high amount of security and only about half of the dealers are open to the public.

Well on the 5 floor there is a small lunch room. A couple vending machines, a few tables and a GORGEOUS 25" MVS setup. The thing is SOOO NICE. It's as close to 'NEW' as I've ever seen anything. It has KoF 98', Puzzle Bobble, Neo Bomberman and Metal Slug X.

I used to walk there afterschool, make my run (buy jewelery, drop stuff off to our master jewler..what have you) and spend like 5 bucks on it. It was great...set up for a quarter a play.

The owner runs Serentity Gems. Nice dude, open to the public and has very good prices.

But you'd NEVER suspect a video game in this building, let alone such a nice one with a good line up...quietly...tucked away. Only a few know of it's existence.

And now you know.

We may be able to find a spot for it somewhere on this site.

Cool. I was turned down on it once. I'll see what I can work up as a sample on my meager 10 mb AOL hosting. Isn't almost criminal that you get more space on something like Geo cities (which is free) but I pay for AOl and get squat?
