This post it to inform Shawn and ONLY Shawn about the idiots who run the neo-geo.com chat room.

The mods in this room are about as stupid as you can get. Jigen acts like a complete asshole to everyone who doesn't follow his directions to the T.

BonusKun is a very anal person as well. He kicks people for NO REASON at all. They might say something that he doesn't approve of...and poof...they are kicked.

I for one think that this chat room should be taken off of NG.com for good.

I'm sure Shawn will agree. He dislikes the chat room...he's told me personally.

I want something done about this.

Bryan, MikeAce01 wasn't banned intentionally, there was a ban on his ISP because of someone else, he's cool with it now, why the hell aren't you? Bans are never permanent in chat but it's the only way to make sure someone can't come right back in and start up a spamming storm, kicking is totally ineffective and people would cry up a flood if the chatroom was set to +m(active moderation, only selected users can chat). The only person who is consistently banned from chat is Leslie M. Collins, and he is let back in when he is behaving. Chat is run well by the current mods and well enjoyed by everyone that participates on a regular basis.

So you admit that you aren't in on a regular basis. Perhaps the person getting kicked "for no reason" has a history of disrupting chat and being a problem. The person that was kick banned when you were in chat tonight was Leslie, frankly I'm sick of hearing him talk about blowing loads on athena's face and how he wants to see terry naked and shit like that.

Chat is fine. The only people that really act like assholes are me and Tom Fauxpat. Jigen, Mookie, and Bonus are all very civil and down to earth guys.

If you pay attention, the people that get made fun of are the people that genuinely act like children and annoy others in the room. Like Leslie, or anyone from #eminem or #nsyncworld. Sure, links are posted and laughed at, but there's no harm done and no harm intended.

Hell, if Captain Flannel can go into chat without me making fun of him all the time, it's gotta be safe.

It's not exactly a neo place to be. I feel as i some of the people you meet there don't even know what the neo is. I have been kicked out meaninglessly just for mentioning hentai. Not even posting pics or anything. and whenever I do try to get serious in there everyone acts like a 12 year old and makes fun of me. I wouldn't be too sad if they just went. He's been very helpful to many people with legitamite questions with the Neo and other issues that arise in chat.

Even though I don't frequent the neo-geo room, I think the accusations leveled against the operators of the channel are baseless. BonusKun currently (and has been for the last 2 years) watches many rooms besides #neo-geo, and never was there a time when he kicked someone out for no reason. In fact, it's usually the other way around. He tries to reason with them first before retaliating.

As for Jigen, he's a member of another group of people in #GF_Tavern, and is also an operator there. And once again, I have never witnessed him abusing his moderatorship. If people are going to accuse operators of abusing their powers, proof must be provided. In fact, I'd be gladly to look it over. Send any logs of any incidence of operator/moderator abuse to the e-mail address listed in my profile.
