Last posts

I have a suggestion. When a person clicks on the link to go to the last post in a section its brings them to the first post on that topic. This is not a problem when theres only 1 page on that topic, but when there are multiple pages its annoying to have to click on the last page.Is there away to make it go to the most recent post automatically?
