I have been looking over the auction checking to see how much alot of the games in JAP and US for go and some online retailers. The prices have dropped considerably.

to name a few ie JAP titles
Art of fighting - $25
Art of Fighting 2- $20
fatal fury $18.00
King of fighters 94 $55.00
King of fighters 98 $120.00

Shawn some of the prices don't go with price guide, like Fatal Fury special jap is $40 in the guide, sells of for $30 on ebay usually and you have it for $47.99?...
Im not trying to be a arsehole about it but it just looks abit odd, when some people complain that the games are too high and your selling of for abit more than the usually price, If you selling them and making a good profit then cool!, but it kinda leaves fans turning somewhere else for older carts like ebay or even the selling forum.

There is alot of Japanese seller shifting games in mint condition and at fantastic prices which Im sure alot of you fans are aware of.
What do you think Shawn?..

Ah, a newbie point. Shawn can sell his games for what he likes. He doesn't have to get a quick turnaround. Some people, like me, want to sell games fast, and so our prices are low. Shawn doesn't suffer from that position though, so he can sell FFS for almost $50.

Saturn Fan is right, but I'm afraid it will always be that way. If it's too high, then don't buy from him. Simple as that, I'm afraid. <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

Yep, his prices are high but I don't think he cares if a product sits there for 3-4 months before it finally sells. If I didn't care I would have higher prices too (especially if I ran a popular product-related site).

Remember that brand new home console he was selling for like $1,000 (I think), that sat there for the longest time. Don't know what happened to it though...

If you have exausted every effort to find a certain title or you want it now, then you take a look at the Neo Store. I think that's what it's there for.

Prices are high... sure, but you must consider also that you won't find a seller more honest than Shawn about games' conditions...
He's very picky and precise when describing games' conditions...
You're always sure about what you're gonna get from him... and that's definitely a plus for me...
Still high prices, though...

... and considering recent scams, this is very important, especially when buying rare and pricey games...

Shawn is very serious about his goods and destriptions to his customers but you would think he may be worried about competition and prices changes from local dealers etc.

And I think he is very pissed, because only half of the copies of all the English Releases organized by him are still in stock!

Hope, he nevertheless continues to arrange the supply of English versions!

I´ll do my part in buying!

I'll jump in and say that the prices are a bit high, but nobody is stating that he can't price it for whatever he wants. If you're going to pick on his prices then check out 16-bit's neo site. He has them for very cheap, a lot of times lower than what they go for on ebay. I still find it funny that people will go into the selling forum, and state prices like $5 below what Shawn has in his store, and try to say that they're giving such bargains. I think Shawn is mainly the guy people turn to for new releases.

first of all when you are running a site you are paying for the srver/hosting cost. he also need to pay the charges for credit card processing etc. Sure that would still leave the price a bit higher than in selling forum or ebay, but I believs the reasons have been stated above.

There is some accountability with Shawn. He runs the site and you can get a hold of him, in other words, he is established. Many individuals online can and will disappear like Kyokugen Star if a shady deal goes down and they have nothing to lose. Personally, even if some say his prices are high, I'd buy from Shawn.
