Is chimpmeister a mod?

Cause I saw him reading a topic in the mod forum, he doesn't seem to be one from what i see, the password leaking contunies.

Well the thing is of course I'm not a Mod either but, I've had access for a long time.

Chimp having access should not matter on the whole seeing as he's earned the respect of many members here for his outright ablilty to state the facts on any discussion. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Extra Note: There are of course other members who have Mod Section access but are not Mods themselves.

Seems to me, people are interested in this forum only because they have no idea what goes on.
Im sure you would be disapointed if you actully got access.
Its just a functional spot to leave messages, & ask for advice that is easier than email.


The fact is, this forum is simply for anyone who
Shawn feels like giving access too.
You help out NG.com on a regular basis, either as a mod, or behind the scenes then u get acess.
It aint a club. I think it would be a good idea to make that clear.

I would consider it closer to a tool, to try &
keep ng.com running smoothly.
There are non-mods such as myself,Bonus, & now chimp & some others that have access for various resons.
Not that I'm going to list them, as Im sure you get the point.

Oh I get it, I was under the impression only people with mod status had access.

For what it's worth, I've had MOD status on a Mod I was working on (Irony...meaning a Half-Life Mod).

Yeah. It's easily the most boring thread known to man.

HeatBlazers' "Happy Birtday Thread" would be about 3 times more exciting.
