Anyone in New York City own a Candy cab?

If so, how did you get it? AFAIK the only place to buy Candy NeoGeo cabs is from importers in California. So shipping to NYC would be huge and the cabinet could get damaged.

If you did successfully get a Candy cabinet to NYC, please tell where from and how the shipping was handled.

Also - exactly how wide are they? And what do they weigh? I saw some pics of people's Candy cabs and they are the most beautiful game machines I think I ever saw, and now I kinda want one... Maybe.

I live in Manhattan and recently got a Candy MVS 25. Its a pretty neat unit, fits trough the door of the apartment, is very light and moveable (Has 2 wheels on the back).

Where I got it? It is a secret Well the person I bought it from had 3 at the time and might be able to get some more.

I paid $535 for mine, delivered into my apt and came w/ 3 games. But it is in great condition and i am very happy w/ it... thanks Doug glee

I'm from Long Island, but I bought my cab from Arcade Infinity in CA. I shipped it to a commercial address so I didn't get axed on shipping. From there, I used the company's truck to take it home. By the way, the cab itself was $425 for Super Neo 29. The shipping was $75 shipped.

$75 only !!! They offered me twice that !!!

How did you get such a sweet deal! It means My cab would have cost only $365 shipped to NYC !!!

Yeah, my company has a account with Steven's Air Transport. Since I was using their account for this purchase, I got a discount. Thats probably why it was cheap.
