A new kind of list for Neo-Geo.com??

How about a listing that rates the loading speed of Neo CD games? It can be something like this:


**** - No Loading after initial loading
*** - Extremely brief loading
** - Moderate loading - can be compared to a PSX
* - Horrendous!! A tour de force in sloth!


And maybe a secondary review of how bad the games animation is clipped

**** - Perfect, no noticable animation clipped
*** - Some clipping, hardly noticable
** - Have you played KOF99 on PSX??
* - Why did they even bother?

I like this idea. I figured that the loading speeds were nearly related ot the meg counts, but thne you got the horrible loading speed of Samurai Shodown 2, or KoF 94, even @200+- megs...

What happens when you try to run KoF 98 at over 600 megs? Do you get a screen that says, "go make a sandwich and drink a bottle of beer - when you come back loading will be done"???

I'm really up in arms over buying a Neo-CD or not. I don't want to buy one just for collection purposes and I sure as hell don't want to buy one for 2 or 3 games. I've played View Point and Last Resort on the Neo CD and although I didn't beat them the Audio was great and no loading after the initial load.

Funny thing is, I was actually working on such a list, but slightly different. I was going to examine the loading times to the second, on all the CD units. Put it in excel type format, with a few notes..

Its somthing I dont have a lot of time for unfortunately, but I am working on it. It's nice someone else actually cares about this..
