[Bobak edit: whenever you do a constant word (scream) you end up messing up the layout of the thread. I went and "clipped" the "NO" into smaller chunks.]

Well that EXPLAINS everything. While others might get a slap on the wrist, it's probably because he's not a major 20 million a picture star that the system is sweatin' him. Sucks to hear that, the guy's a fuckin' riot, who knows maybe he can work his magic and laugh his would-be parole ppl to death.

well... it could be because this might not be anywhere close to his 1st time violating either.

Its a bummer :( But... if you can't do the time... don't do the crime.... and that speaks :)

I am not exactly sure how to spell all of this...
but my favorite was:

"COME SON OF JAVAEL, KNEEL BEFORE THE SOHN....
Snoooochie Boochies."

lol!! From Mallrats :D

I know this is just wrong, but I'd love to have him bring in Kevin Smith as a witness, dressed as Silent Bob. He could wave his arms around in frustration whenever his lawyer is overruled and everything. :D

well.. our tax dollars are spent more-so getting these people through rehab, OR paying for them on welfare once they are out of a job..etc.

So eveyrone who uses drugs ends up on welfare? That's obviously not true, and especially not true in this situation. This guy had enough money to be a heroin addict for life if he budgeted correctly.

And BTW, all rehab programs I've seen are either covered by privately owned insurance OR out of the person's pocket. I don't beleive I've ever seen medicare/medicaid cover rehab.

And one more thing I'd like to point out, if you saw the ammount of money poured into jails to keep supposed menaces to society like this away, you'd probably feel the same way I do. Even if the federal government floated the bill for guys like this to go to rehab twice a year for the 5 years, it would still be nothing in comparison to how much money he's taken up with court costs and his room in jail.

But I guess he deserved jail just because he wanted to feel good.

Matt

PS: Just to keep something clear, I agree with this sentence. If you violate parole/probabtion, you deserve what you get. HOWEVER, I think the orignal "crime" that lead to all of this is completely bogus.

It doesn't matter anyway.
Kevin Smith is done with Jay & Silent Bob fliks.

Mewes is now stuck in typecast hell along with Adam West, and William Shatner.
