I fucking hate E-Fucking-Bay.. fuck fuck fuck.

I got a negative today from some asshole I bought a SNES package from.

He charged me 25 bucks to send it ACROSS TOWN.. he wouldn't LET me pick it up, actually sent it to SOMEONE IN OHIO... the Ohio guy had his items sent to someone in California and I didn't get anything for 2 weeks.. while he was on Vacation in Vegas.

So after a whole the whole problem is sorted... he was very apologetic and sheepish the whole time...

I get this email back:

This is a big reason why I try to avoid using eGay as much as possible, because of so many dumbfucks there... oh_no

Sorry to hear about that, but hopefully someone at eBay has enough brains to see what's going on.

Bad situation, and I can't blame ya for feeling the way you do, because quite frankly I'd feel the same way too.

But eBay doesn't suck. Some of the users suck. And those people make eBay capable of being a very very sour experience.

Luckily in my 70 or so transactions, I only met two assholes. That's a pretty strong percentage in my opinion, and I much rather have eBay than if it just disappeared.

even when i am not happy with the item i leave positive feedback i maybe leave an Asshole remark but just so i dont get bad feedback i let a lot of things slide

Its in the nature of Ebay that you cannot always avoid negative feedbacks. The point is that you left your feedback very honestly, to warn others about a poor seller, which is exactly how Ebay should operate. All participants have a duty to leave honest feedback, even if it means you may get a retaliatory negative back.

Anyway the point is, take a look at this guy's feedback; although his total count is very high, he has something like 4 negatives on the first page of his feedback, most of which are very recent! Then look at your feedback, only one lone negative and the rest very positive. Its pretty easy to guess who would be the more reliable seller or buyer.

My feedback rating is 265 with no negs, but I expect someday I may get one or more negatives. Thats just in the nature of Ebay, there will always be idiots that are part of the "community" of Ebay, and running into them is kind of unavoidable. We can only hope that sooner or later, the real morons get unregistered from Ebay permanently before they can do a lot of damage (i.e. ripoffs, substandard products, or poor shipping) to others. Just be glad you didn't get totally ripped off like Buster Broon did, from idiots like dreamH2o (Tim Tews). oh_no
