Man, you liked Totoro, but not Princess Mononoke? I like Totoro, but it was definitely geared more towards kids then anything so I found it far less entertaining. I just love Miyazaki's characters. Their so weird and all have his personal style to them.

I don't know, if you didn't like Mononoke, you may not like Spirited Away. I thought the entire things was pure eye candy myself, and the story is pretty good. Some of it I thought would actually frighten smaller children.

Sure i know what ure saying, but i guess as i saw Totoro when i was much younger, and not seen it since, i found it much more appealing than Mononoke these days.

I'm in love with Kurenai no Buta (Porco Rosso).

Ghibli wise, do not miss 'Mimi wo Sumaseba' (international lame title: 'Whisper of the Heart'). It not Miyazaki's (but Kondo's) yet it truly lovely. And you can catch a glimpse of Olivia Newton John 'Country Road' too! :D

All of his films are great. My favorite is Nausicaa. Be sure to watch the Lupin the 3rd movie Castle of Caglistro. Miyazake co wrote the script. :D

Miyazaki actually made the whole screenplay and direction of the 'Cagliostro no Shiro' Lupin movie.

I hate Lupin Sansei, but gotta admit to love that movie. Clarice may be regarded as a 'earlier version' of Nausicaä herself. The two characters also share the same voice actress actually. :)
