Rastan Saga III: Warrior Blade is the shiznits man, though I still perfer the original. I have the game and it's the greatest. If you're looking for a good Emu of it, there one for RAINE, but owning the PCB of it is the only way to go. Ain't cheap though.

oopps, review:

The game is a bit more detailed than the first one (and I try to forgetabout II). It plays a lot like KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND with elements of Guardian Heroes. The music is alright, but nothing to write home about. If you'd like to hear the soundtrack go here:

Ive only palyed it via MAME/Raine, but it seems a very good hack n slash, with some cool "alternative" levels like running down a hill and horse riding.

I think it is also a long screen game to accomodate 3 players, the graphics sure are nice too.

Neobuyer is actually refering to the game Warrior Blade: Rastan vs. Barbarians. It's a 3d fighter that just came out last week.

NB: Yes, I'm quite curious about it. Taito usually isn't one to disappoint.

Whoops, sorry guys, I didn't notice that I forgot to specify Warrior Blade: Rastan Vs. Barbarian for Gamecube/PS2 (The one advertised on NCSX's March 31st news section).

Sorry about that.

But yeah, I totally agree about the original Warrior Blade, I do dig it big time in Raine.

Would it not be stellar if they included all the Rastan games as a bonus on the new disc?

We can dream...

Woah really??

This one slipped right by me.

Does the "vs. Barbarian" refer to Barbarian as in the 8/16 bit microcomputer games of the 80's???

Those are two kiss ass games anyway.

Damn what a gip! I was thinking "SHIT A NEW RASTAN GAME!" and if the GC did get a game that came with all the oldies (never happen) I would've ran out and bought one. Rastan is still aces in my book.

Doing a little digging, it turns out this game was developed by Sapphire.

I wonder why this was released in the US last june, and was only released in japan earlier this week.

why was it released in us first? becoz its got nothing to do with rastan or taito at all! that seems pretty obvious to me...

taito merely market and distribute the game here they had nothing to do with its development or creation and as is typical in japan they just added a name that would get attention hence the association with rastan.
