Yeah, before I could afford a neo/supernova I was into SNK made NES games. Actually, I never really wanted a neo until I played the NES games. I really just liked the games SNK made. Then one day it just hit me... just like that. If I loved SNK games on the NES, surely I'd love games they developed for their own hardware. That day I decided to buy a neo, and I did. That very day.
So, yeah, I've liked SNK for quite some time. As for NES games, Crystalis is insanely under-rated, Baseball Stars is exceptional (a bit ahead of its time), Iron Tank is just flat out fun! P.O.W. is actually better than the arcade version, Alpha Mission is cool - until you die. Athena COULD have been good. I still haven't played the sports games besides Baseball Stars, though, I have Little League Baseball sitting in the trunk of my car.
As for arcade games, I can add SAR, Marvin's Maze, Lee Travino's Fighting Golf, Mad Crasher, Sky Soldiers, Chopper I, Bermuda Triangle (?), The Next Space, Gladiator 1984, Fighting Soccer, Street Smart, Championship Baseball, Sky Adventure, World Wars, Touchdown Fever (1 and 2), Battle Field, Mechanized Attack, Prehistoric Isle in 1930, and Gold Medalist.
By the way, did Sasuke vs. Commander ever come out in the US? I've tracked down the jap version of the board, but I'm wondering if I could find a domestic version for cheaper. If anyone has Sasuke vs. Commander, Osma Wars, or Psycho Soldier (jap version) for sale - drop me a line.
