I played a kickass game at GameWorks today from Konami- Police 911.
It's a bit like Time Crisis except you're on a mat and the game uses motion sensors to read your position. When the bullets are coming, you either sway or crouch (or both). Swaying can also help you get a better view of a criminal so you can cap him easier, especially if an innocent bystander would otherwise block your shot.
You hide to reload the gun. You better be shooting accurately (no strafing ala Time Crisis II) because the reload is SLOW.
At the end of a game (whether you finish or don't finish) you get a rating based on 6 categories: Reflexes, Intellect, Luck, Bravery, Ethics, and Youthfulness.
Sometimes a criminal will get scared of you and run off. While it's not exactly the best idea (you really should save your bullets for criminals who continue to fight you), it can be fun to cap him in the back as he's fleeing. If you do that, the game calls it "Overly Cautious Self-Defense".
If you see this game, give it a shot. I got hooked on it (I spent about 6 hrs. at GameWorks, playing mostly this game and Dance Dance Revolution).
