I haven't bought PSO yet, and heard Sega are releasing PSO version 2. Is version 2 just the same as the first but with extra stuff?
If so would it be better to wait for version 2 instead of buying the 1st?
Also on the european edition of PSO can you use your own ISP or do you have to use Seganet?
Thanks <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Yes, you can start with just PSO v2, except it will be awhile before you can tackle the Ultimate Mode, since you gotta be Level 100 for that.

But a character you've made in PSO can be carried over to PSOv2. I say the only reason to get the first one now is to level your character up in time for PSOv2.

as for the ISP thing...no clue..I thought there was something on Gamefaqs for that, maybe you should check?

you can play pso games on any DC compatible ISP, bellsouth and such should work fine...but an ISP like aol, tht requires software installed i dont think will work properly...but you dont have to have seganet...

I was going to post this question myself but it seems somebody beat me to it. Anyway, I finally found a used US DC and picked up PSO. It's pretty cool from what i've seen so far. I need to meet up with some peeps and start adventuring and leveling up. If you're going online soon send me a message (skm00@bellsouth.net) and we can meet up.
