That's one of the few reasons you'd want to move to the U.S. Internet prices are falling while bandwith speed is increasing. I use cable modem and get unlimited Internet at a fairly fast speed for just $39.95 a month.

Most of our free net access ISPs in Australia are crap these days,before there was this really good one out there but after it closed down,it took everything with it <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

No DSL/Cable available in my area. Accoridng to all sources it is still several months out. The local cable company dropped their main digital line along my property line a month or so ago. aol - $10 a month (i dont use their numbers)
sega net - $10 a month (i got a special deal)

i dont...only for mail. and i dont use thier internet connection...i have @home. my parents basically use aol.

Excuse me for the bad Shakespeare joke. I've just been stuffed with it this year so I was itching to use that quote from Hamlet at an (in)opportune time.

AOL for mail? $10 for mail is kinda... expensive isn't it? Doesn't @home give you your own e-mail address, just like Roadrunner does here?
