I just want to know who you people admire as actors. Put 5 actors you like and 5 actors you hate. Also try and give a explaination why you like or dislike that actor. Greater value to lesser value.

Like:

1.Samuel Jackson(Every movie hes in he gives a great performance)

2.Denzel Washington(He was awesome in John Q)

3.Jack Black(Funny guy, Orange County sucked though)

4.Nicholas Cage(Faceoff was awesome)

5.Arnold Schwarzenneger(I liked his acting in Predator)

Dislike:

1.Nicole Kidman(Shes a big bitch and shes afraid to show it on camera)

2.Jennifer Lopez(She is garbage. She is a terrible actor as well as a singer, she also cheated on her husband, what a bitch)

3.Keanu Reaves(He was good in matrix but that surfer guy voice gots to go)

4.Kris Katan(Did anyone see Corky Ramano? NO!)

5.Snoop Dogg(He shows no character)

Actor:
Brad Pitt
truly the most versatile actor. His performance in Kalifornia was funny as hell. Theorizing that Pittsburgers are stupid because the winters are so cold that the brain cells slow to a halt, and Californians are all smart because it's hot was fruit-loopy. Of course Fight Club, Meet Joe Black, Seven, True Romance, A River Runs Through It, Snatch, and The Mexican automatically spring to mind. Oh yeah, Ocean's 11.

By association I also like George Clooney, whose performances in From Dusk to Dawn and The Three Kings were excellent. His statements of how discomforting it was to kiss J-Lo also endear him just that much more, because J-Lo is on the list of

Actors that Suck flea-semen

J-Lo. Why do people like her? How does she take Salma Hayek's job as the hispanic beauty? She's not even hispanic. Her accent, attitude, and shitty music should reserve her for a primetime slot on CBS in The Nanny parte Dos. I hated the Wedding Planner. I also hate Matthew McConnaughy's plastic looking face, and golden hairpiece. That and the fact he seems liek too much of a nice guys...

Tom Hanks. Sell out. 'nuff said.

Have's

Clint Eastwood--Long career, lots and lots of good movies. Can you really get enough of the squinted eyes and raspy voice, along with a healthy comment of hilarious one liners? I don't think so. Clint has done it all, westerns, war, comedy, action, even a musical(Paint your Wagon). Versatile and endearing.

Harrison Ford--I like him for his non-mainstream roles, Regarding Henry, Mosquito Coast, Witness. Indiana Jones of course is cool. Looking forward to k-19.

Matt Damon--The guy can do anything. I havent seen him flub a role yet, even when the movie itself was not very good. My generations best hope for a future mega-star like Tom Cruise, which brings me to:

Tom Cruise--He has really expanded his horizons hasn't he? Top Gun, Days of Thunder to Eyes Wide Shut, Vanilla Sky. He is more than just a pretty boy with a winning smile, he is turning out to be one of the greats.

Have Nots

J. Lo.---give me a break already. I gotta agree with Wasabi, how in the hell did she surpass Selma Hayek? Selma can act, and is better looking WTF? I guess since Selma didn't screw Puffy, she didn't get the big break eh?

Robert DeNiro---I'm so sick of him playing the same damn character in every single movie. It doesn't matter if its action, or comedy, he is the same guy everytime. Get lost.

Renee Zellweger---Someone tell me what is so sexy about this drab, clammy woman? Me Myself, Irene sucked, Nurse Betty sucked, and her part in Jerry Maguire was the weakest link. Goodbye.

Jackie Brown, Meet the Parents, Men of Honor, Casino, Cape Fear, Deer Hunter. I have to say that he doesn't play the same character all the time; but sometimes I feel like he's always playing the "cool" character, which is pretty peevish.

I think some people enjoyed that shower scene in Wild Things a little too much.

And I will say this right now: I hate Keanu Reaves. he has played the same character ever since Bill and Ted
"Dude!"

But my favorite actors:
Bruce Campbell - The one...the only...that guy in those Evil Dead movies... And he was even in Spider Man

Ted Raimi - Such a versatile actor :D Not only is he in just about every Sam Raimi movie, I even saw him in the beginning of some really stupid movie on the Sci-Fi channel. Great performance though. :)

Guy Pearce - I like his work (even though I haven't seen Time Machine..) 'nuff said

Bruce Lee :D

Leonardo DiCaprio (before he started sucking) - Didn't you ever see Basketball Diaries? Oh how far the mighty fall...

I'd just like to add Johnny Depp to the mix. He's come a long way from 21 Jumpstreet. In movies like "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" and "Blow" he was just superb. His portrayal of Hunter Thompson's fictional character "Duke" in "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" was borderline fucking genius.

I'm also a bit of a Rupert Everett fan, simply based on his part in "Cemetery Man." Loverly, just blammo.

In no particulair order:

Gary Senise- "Lt. Dan" from Forrest Gump. He was also in Reindeer Games and Of Mice and Men.

Lawrence Fishburne - "Mr. Clean" from Apocalyspe Now Redux. He also did Othello when he got older.

Tim Robbins - Hudsucker Proxy and The Shawshank Redemption

Kenneth Branaugh - Hamlet and Mary Shelly's Frankenstien (DeNiro played the monster and also was very good in that).

Steve Buscemi - Ed and His Dead Mother ("Happy People Never Die") and as "Mr. Pink" in Reservoir Dogs

Alan Alda - MASH

Mostly it's Robbins and Branaugh and Alda.

(I agree about Keanu. Where the hell is Alex "Bill S. Preston" Winter?

Best:
Arnie-His 80's stuff still rocks.
Michelle Pfeiffer-Gorgeous, and has had some great roles.
Jim Carey-When he's not making shit.
Harrison Ford-Solid Actor. Always know he's at least gonna be entertaining.
Jodie Foster-Excellent Actress,Almost out of action at the moment though :(

Worst:
Renee Zellweger-Have to agree with GunstarHero with this one. How the fuck can anyone like her?
George Clooney-Fucked up batman beyond repair. Pretty good in from Dusk till Dawn though.
Thats about it :)

Good-

George Clooney: Out of Sight, Ocean's 11, From Dusk till Dawn, O Brother, Three Kings. This guy is fucking cool.

Tom Cruise: Early stuff is hit or miss, but lately this guy is showing his good shit. Magnolia is one of my favorite movies, and Eyes Wide Shut + Vanilla Sky weren't too shabby either. Minority Report looks good too.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Seven, Shallow Hal, Talented Mr. Ripley, Hard Eight=all good.

Brad Pitt: Snatch, Seven, Interview with a Vampire, nuff said.

Also worthy of mention: Nicole Kidman(To Die For, Moulin Rouge), Bruce Willis(Pulp Fiction, Die Hard), Bill Murray(Kingpin, Groundhog Day, Rushmore), Al Pacino(Scarface, Heat, Insomnia).

And to the JLo haters: Out of Sight and The Cell were both sweet. So shut the fuck up. She can put her big ass in my face anytime.

And to the Robert Deniro hater: Same character in every movie? Maybe you should watch more Deniro movies. Start with Raging Bull.

Bad-

John Travolta: Pulp Fiction and Get Shorty were both good, but not because of him. Travolta is a fucking pussy. Battlefield Earth, Broken Arrow, Face/Off, Look Who's Talking 1-however many they made, Lucky Numbers, Michael, Phenomenon, Saturday Night Fever, Staying Alive, and White Man's Burden are some of the worst movies ever made.

Nic Cage: Leaving Las Vegas is the exception. Amos & Andrew, Bringing out the Dead, City of Angels, 8MM, Family Man, Gone in 60 Seconds, Honeymoon in Vegas, It Could Happen to You, and Snake Eyes are total shit. Windtalkers looks like shit as well. This guy is a total joke.

Robin Williams: Die Robin, die. How this clown ever got a part in Insomnia is a mystery to me. I'm not going to bother listing all the Robin Williams movies I hated. Let's just say it was a lot.

WOW...

Those are my picks almost verbatum. Minus Sam Neil though. Not that he is a bad actor by any means, but he just doesn't stick out as one of my favorites. IMDB says he's going to be playing Dr. Octopus in Spider-Man 2.

I have to throw in a couple others though:

Cuba Gooding Jr.
Robert Redford
Al Pacino (yes because he's a bad ass)
And shame on everyone for forgeting one of the greatest of all time TOSHIRO MIFUNE!!!
