Hey:

Last night my girlfriend and I went and saw Green Day, she loves them. They played an awesome set and were just great. Not the best show I have ever been to, but I had a blast. The best show I have ever been to was Motley Crue and the Scorpions at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, NM, both of those bands are amazing live. Some other really good ones I have been to are Weird Al Yankovic, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Stone Temple Pilots, and a ska band called the Scofflaws.

What is the best concert you have ever been to?

Back in 1994 I saw Rush's Counterparts tour at the World (now known as the Tweeter center) in Chicago. My first live concert and definetly the best I've seen.

I don't know if it's the best I've ever seen, but I'd say UNDERWORLD at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.

ahhh.

Pink Floyds Momentary lasps of reason Tour at Mile High. Even though I had to work security it was a great concert.

Second Best would be The Cramps at numbers in Houston in 98.

hmmm worse is when I got kicked in the head by a crowd surfer at an Lords of Acid concert at the Theater District in Houston, It also sucked because the opening band did not show.

Hmmm.. This is a good question.

I'd have to say the Chemical Brothers at the First Avenue club in Minneapolis in 1997. Great fun!

The best concert I've been to was last summer when I saw AC/DC with Slash's Snake Pit at Reunion Arena on my birthday. That show was amazing. AC/DC has never played a bad song or a bad concert. Angus Young is a guitar playing god!

i got to see David Byrne earlier this
year for the first time ever!
i ve been a huge talking heads fan
and david byrne fan almost all my life
it was soooo cool to see the man play
old tunes from the heads to the new ones
before his new album came out
"look into the eyeball"
he was amazing!
everything i always thought it would be.
and really fun
youd think that singing along to all the
songs you know would seem kinda stupid..
but i didnt mind..
i had the time of my life.
he had alot to live up to too!
since i listened to stop making sense
a billion times

Here are some I've liked:

Chick Corea Elektric Band (1991)- All of their songs ROCKED at the show, but the best one was "Elektric City".

Manhattan Transfer (1991)- "The Offbeat of Avenues" tour.

Charlotte Church (2000)

Britney Spears (2000)- "Oops... I Did It Again" tour.

One concert I'd have liked to attend was Zuntata's "Guten Talk from the earth" at Roppongi Velfarre in Japan (1998). I've got the 2 CD set of that- the live versions of tunes from Night Striker, Warrior Blade, Grid Seeker, RayForce series, and several other Taito games are impressive.

Nine Inch Nails & A Perfect Circle, 4/21/01, UIC Pavilion

The lighting and stage effects were amazing. Also, the only place I've heard thousands of people say "fuck" at the same time. And the only place I've been to where 95% of the clothing was black. My type of people.

Slayer. The gods of Thrash Metal.

In September I'm gonna see Slayer (again), PanterA, Cradle of Filth and Static-X (not that I give a shit about them, nu-metal toss) on the Tattoo The Planet tour. All in the one night btw.

Probably either Moby (last year), or Nine inch Nails back around '95 (whenever Downward Spiral was released..).

Seeing the Stones play Wembley Stadium was cool, and I can't forget an all night Prodigy concert with the Chemical Brothers (little known at the time) as support.

Too many good memories
