And there are 3 or 4 of the exact same auction:

<a href="http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&SortProperty=MetaHighestPriceSort&query=snes&ht=1&itemtimedisp=0&combine=y&st=2" target="_blank">http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&SortProperty=MetaHighestPriceSort&query=snes&ht=1&itemtimedisp=0&combine=y&st=2</a>

Scary, isn't it?

They're not made by nintendo though.

Look closely at one of them

Good eye Wolf! I noticed this as well. Damned good clones of the real controllers though.

Even though if controllers are made by Nintendo, I'll not get those.

US Nintendo controller isn't as good as Japanese one because it'll make a weird noise after long period of time.

I prefer JPN or Konami controller

Hmph, well whaddya know, Wolf is right.

That explains them not being in a box and being in such a large amount I suppose...

By the way, Liquid Snake, I have never had any problems with my SNES controllers making a weird noise... has this happened to you more than once?

Happens to me, a piece of mine actually just broke off while I was playing once. I opened it up and a little plastic doohickey was floating around in there.

It's hard to explain
It's a "squeeze" noise
I've had 10 SNES controllers and all of them make that kinda noise

If you have Japanese SFC controller then you'll know what I'm saying.

SFC controller is sturdy and better than US one (except cord is very short)

I see stuff on ebay like that all the time.
Ususally games though. A few weeks ago there was a case of 24 MIB factory sealed Mario Tennis on the Virtual Boy. I almost bidded but realized that these are really hard games to sell in the first place.

ok, I think I know what you're talking about, but if I do then it's only a sound that you hear when you actually squeeze the controller, and hard... I don't think I know what you're talking about though, but I'll take your word for it.

The us snes controller has no internal ribbing or bracing. The case is quite flexible as far as controllers go, and the lip seal between the upper and lower halves rub into each other. It's quite a flimsy unit as street fighter 2 cost me over 8 controllers. But think of all the custom sticks you could make by sacrificing those boards in those controllers for!!

Does the sound happen from using the d-pad?

I think I know what you mean.

I think he means the "squeaking" or "cracking" sound they make when you squeeze them tightly in your hand.

Anyway, I can finally fulfill my lifelong dream of owning 75 Super Nintendo controllers. Thank God, I thought I would never complete my collection.

*places a bid*

You are correct

4 buttons & D pad

If you have both SFC & SNES controllers then you'll know what I'm saying.

Besides this little problem, the buttons on SFC controller are colorful then US ones.
