Hey mods, is it possible to obtain a post/thread from days past?

I have been kicking myself for awhile now because I thought I saved a certain post from a thread that's long gone (like four months old) but I can't find it. Is it possible for you to drag it up, or is it perma deleted? If it matters, it was either in the King of Fighters board or the Capcom VS SNK board.

You can let me know here, if it's possible I'll PM you with the details. If it's long gone then I guess I'm SOL.
