The sad thing is that Steve was scripted to lose the match with Lesnar after interference by both Benoit and Guerrero. Making it completely understandable that he lost the match since it wasn't fair. It's not like he had to lose fair and square. Guess that just shows that his huge wrestling ego got the better of him. I do have to admit though, Vince did a very tasteful thing on RAW concerning Williams. Instead of ripping his legacy apart with what's gone done in the last couple of weeks, Vince thanked him for his work in making the WWE what it is today. Then, for one last time, Vince opened a beer, took a drink, and left it in the middle of the ring. One of the most tasteful things I have ever seen in pro wrestling. The legacy of "Stone Cold" will never be forgotten, but hopefully, Steve Williams will be.
