I'd like to know about Burnout for GC as well.

I've own Waverace - Blue Storm and I think it's great. You should be aware of the fact that the courses are identical to the N64 version. The main difference between the two versions is that the wave physics are much better in the Gamecube version.

pikmin is an awesome game despite the "kiddy" look to it. as captain olimar you were on vacation until your ship got smacked by a meteor and you srash landed on this strange planet. he can't live because of the poisonis oxygen. he soon discoveres these little creatures that when he pulls them from the ground they do his bidding. you have 30 days to collect 30 parts for your ship. sounds easy right? wrong you have to take down massive monsters and get different pikmin suited for each job. blue pikmin can go in water, red can go in fire, yellow can jump super high. red are the strongest attackers yellow are the weakesst. but you must use all types if you want to live. there are huge bosses that shoot rocks, or gigantic spiders, or the dreaded queen bulborg. fight wisely and succeed be bullish and lose simple as that. i'd reccoment this game as it is short and addictive so you'll be done with it pretty quick but when you're done you'll wanna play it again.

Pikmin is pretty good, but I personaly wouldnt recomend buying it. Some parts are challenging and really make you think, but Pikmin can easily be beaten within a rental period. The first time I played through it I got all 30 ship pieces and havent touched the game since. I highly suggest renting the game first, if you still feel the need to buy the game afterwards then go right ahead.

Max Payne is best played on the PC. The consol versions hold up nicely, though. While the XBOX version is closer to its PC forefather (I really hate to admit that!) the PS2 version isn't far behind. If you haven't played the PC version you won't notice anything major with the PS2 version. It plays well and makes for some great gaming. Pikmin is off the wall and innovative, a true Nintendo gem. I recommend both of these titles.

PS2 Max Payne is the worst of the 3 releases, oh, but don't worry, it's still good. If your PC can't support Max Payne, get the XBox version, if you have an XBox.

Pikmin for GC
Great game, very fun, addicting, kinda short.

Max Payne for PS2
If you have a X-Box or PC, get one of those versions. Its not a bad version, its counterparts are much better.

Burnout for GC
Havn't played it.

Waverace - Blue Storm for GC
If you liked Waverace64 you will like this one.

Get Max Payne on PC, then you can download the Kung Fu Mod, The Matrix Mod, and some other cool add-ons.

burnout sucks big balls you can't get past like 75 mph, or you hit some stupid civilian driver. who shouldn't be on the road anyways. and when you hit that driver the game has to show an instant replay. and drop you like four slots in the race. don't get it wait a day or two for wrestlemania X8 for GC.

Thanks for the low down guys! :)

I don't know where I can rent any of these close to where I live, but Game and EB do this deal whereby if you're not totally satisfied with your purchase (for whatever reason) you can take the game back and get a full refund (provided it's within 10 days of purchase).

I think I'll start with Wave Race and Max Payne and go from there... :)
